Vacuum drying

The aim of drying operations is to remove the liquid from a solid via vaporization.

Evaporation temperatures and the energy required vary a great deal depending on the liquids concerned.
The energy consumption required by this process can thus be significant.

Furthermore, some solids may not withstand these high temperatures and their properties end up altered as a result.

Vacuum drying is the best option to overcome these difficulties and we have developed a vacuum dryer mixer specifically for this purpose, the .
The vacuum created in the vessel means that evaporation temperatures can be considerably reduced. This in turn implies lower energy consumption and drying temperatures which are compatible with heat-sensitive solids.

This vacuum mixer has many applications in the field of specialty chemicals, such as the treatment of friction materials, or metal powders, for example.
