Ribbon mixers
Ribbon mixers undertake high quality mixing at slow speeds. The properties of the products are thus preserved and the risk of overheating is reduced. Low attrition means the initial properties of powders or granules such as density, size and shape are not altered.
A helicoid ribbon located around the mixer shaft provokes repeated longitudinal crossover of products. The slow rotation speed is particularly suited to heat-sensitive, fragile or abrasive products.
