Produce liquid or pasty lubricants for your applications
Lubricants fall into 3 main categories: liquid lubricants (oil), pasty lubricants (grease) and dry lubricants (solid film lubricants).
Liquid or pasty lubricants are made from oil obtained from the chemical transformation of petroleum. These oils can be mineral or synthetic.
Oils contain a high percentage of additives (up to 25%) in order to give them specific properties: detergent additives, dispersing additives, anti-rust additives, friction modifiers…
Lubricating grease also contains thickeners and additives. Thickeners give grease the properties which are sought for such as consistency, resistance (melting point)…
Solid film lubricants are a fine dispersion of solid lubricants or oil in a binder or solvent.
These solid lubricants are also found in suspension in grease or oils: graphite, molybdenum disulfide, talc… but also nanoparticles.
Furthermore, due to our expertise in the field of potentially explosive atmospheres. we can design dispersers in accordance with the standards required for potentially explosive materials.

Our reactors/dispersers have been designed to undertake dispersion operations with all types of solid extenders in liquids, and so are extremely well suited for the manufacturing of lubricants. The vessels of our dispersers can be equipped with heat exchangers and our fully automated Cleaning In Place (CIP) system which ensures perfect cleanability of the vessel.
